As the Founder and CEO of Culture Creators, an influential organization that connects global cultural pioneers with the new generation of diverse creators of culture, Joi has been instrumental in creating a more inclusive world. Under her leadership, Culture Creators has awarded over $300,000 in scholarship money to HBCU students across the United States in the past two years.

Culture Creators also helps develop a talent pipeline and employment and internship opportunities across leading companies, including JBL Audio, Warner Music Group, and Showtime Networks Inc. The organization provides a wide range of networking events, workshops, and leadership training programs that cater to college students, entry-level employees, and C-suite executives. Additionally, Culture Creators hosts college summits to provide additional training, soft skill development, and free mentorship for all students of color.

Culture Creators also creates curricula for company internship programs to level the entry pool for students of color applying for internship and employment opportunities. The organization provides workshops and access to funding for entrepreneurs and start-ups, further promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in every industry. She also sits on the Board of Directors for MUSIC WILL, a national nonprofit dedicated to building a world where kids can live rich, purposeful lives by ensuring that all public-school children can unlock their passion for music.
